Hi, I’m Annie Kim. My life has always been shaped by change and reinvention.
I was three years old when my family left South Korea and settled in Queens, New York. We moved often, so I never had just one “happy place” growing up. Instead, I learned how to adapt to new places, and become comfortable with change.
As I got older, I followed the path many first-generation kids do. I earned a business degree and started climbing the corporate ladder. But I realized pretty quickly that it wasn’t the life I wanted.
I was much more interested in people. What helps us feel healthy, happy, and at home in our lives?
That pursuit led me into wellness, psychology, spirituality, movement, and creativity. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, including healer, coach, and designer. I also earned a Master of Arts degree in Spiritual Psychology.
Looking back, none of those experiences were random. They taught me how to solve problems, stay calm during change, and help people feel heard and understood. Those are the same skills I now bring to real estate.
Today, I have a particular passion for helping busy families navigate moves during times of transition. There are often dozens of decisions to make, repairs to coordinate, people to call, belongings to sort through, and emotions to manage — sometimes while the family is dealing with a health crisis or another major life change at the same time.
That’s why I created the Elegant Move Method.
My approach is designed to save families time, reduce stress, and take as much off their plate as possible. From preparing the home and coordinating trusted professionals to managing the details of the sale, my goal is to make the entire experience feel organized, thoughtful, and manageable.
Today, I live with my 84-year-old mother, so I know what it’s like to balance your own life while also thinking about the needs, wishes, and future of someone you love.
I’m also a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), with specialized training in the housing and real estate needs that can come with later-life transitions.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at the beach, sewing, dancing, practicing yoga, or learning something new about psychology and personal growth.
My goal is simple: to make life a little easier for families when they already have more than enough to handle.
